We wanted to take a moment to highlight the value of Google in your BEETTAN biz!
Google is FREE, and seeing as it is the most used search engine in the world, especially in the USA, it is important to take advantage of what Google offers, and how it can connect you to future customers.
At Summit with The Boutique Hub, Michelle learned some really valuable insights that help us help YOU with Google. Here are some of their tips, with some we've been using for years. Try a couple, start working through them as much as you can, and get things updated on your Google My Business Page.
- Ask for reviews from your customers. This is one of the MOST IMPORTANT things we can stress to you. Google will push you to the top of searches in your area when you receive a review. This is also why the consistency of your reviews matters more than how many you have. If you have 100 from last year, someone that receives one this week seems more relevant because they seem more current!
- Ask BEETTAN partners and friends and family to leave you reviews, but be sure they add YOUR city and state so Google assumes they've actually used your services. If they don't, you'll be flagged and it will appear to be spam. Ask them to include a spray tan photo so it appears real!
- Upload pictures EVERY MONTH! Show your business, your spray tans and clients, your space, and even graphics you've made of your reviews. Google wants to be used more like a profile these days--like Facebook and Instagram, so pictures are valued in the Google world these days!
- check your interactions and interact how Google allows--reply to your reviews with a thank you!
- send your clients a request to leave you a Google review with a link to your Google My Business page! This drives activity to your Google (which is good!)
- make sure your location, links, and contact information is updated and accurate so people can find you!
